Job summary

Omega Plastics Inc in Clinton Township, MI is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the first shift (7:00 am–3:30 pm, Monday–Friday with some Saturdays) on-site. You will handle preventive maintenance, troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, and keep precise maintenance records for production equipment and facilities.

The role requires 5+ years in the injection molding industry, familiarity with ISO 9001/QS 9000, and the ability to read schematics.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of maintenance experience in injection molding.
• Experience with ISO 9001 and QS 9000; ISO 13485 a plus.
• Knowledge of clean room protocols.
• Ability to read electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic schematics.
• Reads prints and analyzes equipment issues.

Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance on primary and secondary equipment per PM schedule.
• Keeps maintenance records updated and organized.
• Reads blueprints and schematics for electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic repairs.
• Programs robots and sprue pickers.
• Troubleshoots and repairs high-priority production equipment on the plant floor.
• Documents changes for as-built records.
