Job summary

Schaefer Plastics North America, LLC is seeking a Machine Attendant – Heavy to support daily production of plastic products. The role is hands-on, fast-paced, and requires strong attention to detail, safe work habits, and the ability to match machine cycle times.

As part of a manufacturing team, you will handle trimming, stamping, assembling, and inspecting parts, while maintaining quality and accurate production documentation. Commitment to reliability and safety is essential.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
• Injection molding experience is helpful but not required.
• Experience in a fast-paced production environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Trim flash and remove sprue from molded parts according to quality standards.
• Hot stamp, imprint, assemble, and finish products per customer specifications.
• Inspect parts throughout the shift to ensure quality requirements.
• Document inspections on the In-Process Inspection Log every 30 minutes, or as directed.
• Assist with first-piece inspections and notify supervisor of any non-conforming product.
• Make adjustments in the Plantstar System for rejects or production activity.
• Complete documentation and product control processes accurately and on time.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area throughout the shift.
• Follow safety procedures, work instructions, quality standards, and company policies.
• Assist with training new employees as needed.
• Demonstrate regular attendance and punctuality, ready to start on time.
