Job summary

Rehrig Pacific Company is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure reliability and operation of machinery in our plastic injection molding facility. You will perform preventive maintenance and quick repairs to minimize downtime while maintaining a safe work environment.

You will inspect injection molding machines, extrusion equipment, compressors, and support systems, collaborate with Production and Maintenance Supervisors, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that boost

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or technical training a plus.
• Experience in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, or pneumatic system repair.
• Knowledge of injection molding, pneumatic conveying, chilled water systems, and grinders.
• Skilled in using a multimeter for electrical troubleshooting.
• Self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team.
• Bonus skills: hydraulic schematics reading, welding, machining, lean manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair injection molding machines, extrusion equipment, compressors, HVAC, and fire systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and electronic systems.
• Support engineering projects and kaizen events to reduce scrap and increase efficiency.
• Help manage spare parts inventory and coordinate with contractors on upgrades.
• Respond quickly to issues to minimize downtime and keep production moving.
• Collaborate with Production and Maintenance Supervisors to maintain safety and efficiency.
