Job summary

Rehrig Pacific Company, Inc. is seeking a Tooling Manager for our plastic injection molding facility. You will lead a team of mold technicians, oversee maintenance, and drive reliability improvements to support production goals.

The role requires strong mechanical aptitude, 5+ years in injection molding, and 3+ years of leadership. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CMMS is preferred, with a focus on safety and teamwork in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent hands-on experience in a technical field.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
• 3+ years of leadership experience (preferred).
• 5+ years of injection molding experience (preferred).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint); experience with CMMS (JD Edwards preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead safety and develop a high-performing tooling team of mold technicians.
• Oversee all mold repair and maintenance activities; coordinate preventive maintenance (PM).
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance tooling reliability and uptime.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with production and suppliers to align tooling with plant goals.
