A day on the floorIt’s 7:00 AM in Downers Grove. You review the build plan, pull up a SolidWorks model, post fresh toolpaths in Mastercam, and set up a 3–4 axis Haas VMC. By mid-morning, you’re fitting precision components for a new plastic injection mold, using the surface grinder for final finishes and the sinker EDM to burn a tight feature. After lunch, you’re collaborating with engineering to resolve a tolerance stack-up, validating dimensions with precision gauges, and documenting improvements to boost repeatability for the next run.About MoldtronicsMoldtronics, Inc. is a privately held contract manufacturer headquartered in Downers Grove, Illinois.
