Job summary

100Hires, Inc. seeks an experienced Mold Maker to service production injection molds, performing teardown, refurbishment, and preventive maintenance. You will diagnose electrical and hot runner issues and install hydraulic and water lines to specification.

You’ll operate surface grinders, drill presses, and lathes, and use an overhead crane and forklift to move tooling. Strong hands-on skills and self-motivation are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years of Mold Maker experience focused on production injection molds.
• Hands-on skill with mold tear-down, refurbishment, and PM.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical and hot runner systems.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble and reassemble production injection molds for repair and preventive maintenance.
• Diagnose and correct electrical issues and hot runner system problems.
• Fabricate and install new hydraulic and water lines to specification.
• Run toolroom equipment: surface grinder, drill press, and engine lathe.
• Safely move and stage tooling using an overhead crane and drive a forklift.

Your day might begin by guiding a mold into place with an overhead crane, continue with a precise teardown for preventive maintenance, and wrap with a smooth reassembly after you’ve traced and fixed an electrical or hot runner fault.
