Job summary

Valeo is a global automotive supplier and tech company seeking a Tooling Technician for the 3rd shift (Sunday-Thursday, 10PM-6:30AM). You will join the internal tooling team, repairing and maintaining injection molds used to produce cosmetic automotive parts, and ensure tooling readiness for production.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience repairing and maintaining plastic injection molding.
• Experience with plastic injection mold tooling that produces cosmetic automotive parts.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain injection mold tooling and perform preventative maintenance (PM).
• Repair and/or make parts to conform to latest mold prints 2D/3D data.
• Perform basic heat treating, MIG/TIG welding, silver solder, precision hand fitting, and bench work.
• Maintain records and logs; report and order any low stock inventories.
• Accomplish other duties as assigned.
