Job summary

Valeo North America is seeking a Process/Manufacturing Engineer/Technician for the 2nd shift (2 PM–10:30 PM) to troubleshoot injection molding issues, operate and maintain molding equipment, and support process improvements.

You will start Engel and Sepro robots, work with the injection team to reduce cycle times and scrap, and uphold injection process standards in a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of experience with new mold set-up and process plastic injection mold machines.
• 2+ years of experience with identification of injection plastic defects after the manufacturing process.
• Familiarity with Engel and Sepro robots preferred.
• Injection insert over-molding experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot injection molding process issues and identify root causes.
• Operate and maintain injection molding process equipment.
• Operate overhead crane.
• Maintain injection process standards.
• Collaborate with the injection team to improve TRP, cycle time, and scrap.
• Start Engel and Sepro robots and integrate them into production.

What You Will Do

• You will troubleshoot injection molding process related issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions

What You Should Have

• You have a high school diploma / GED
• You have 2+ years of experience with new mold set-up and process plastic injection mold machines
• You have 2+ years of experience with the identification of injection plastic defects after the manufacturing process.
• You preferably have familiarity with Engel and Sepro robots
• You preferably have injection insert over-molding experience
