Job summary

Valeo in Smyrna, TN is hiring for an Injection Molding Technician on the 2nd shift (2 PM - 10:30 PM) with OT as needed. You will troubleshoot molding issues, operate and maintain equipment, and collaborate to improve cycle times and scrap.

You will also operate an overhead crane and even start robots as part of a hands-on, quality-focused team. Required: a high school diploma or GED and 2+ years in new mold set-up with plastic injection machines, plus experience identifying injection defects

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years' experience with new mold set-up and plastic injection mold machines.
• 2+ years' experience identifying injection plastic defects after manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot injection molding process issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Operate and maintain injection molding process equipment.
• Operate overhead crane.
• Maintain injection process standards.
• Collaborate with the injection team to improve TRP, cycle time, and scrap.
• Ability to start a robot.
