Job summary

Pentair plc in New Brighton, MN seeks a Tool and Die Maker for 1st shift to support injection mold tooling design, build, and maintenance. You will fabricate tooling components and fixtures and collaborate with manufacturing teams.

The role requires 5+ years in a Tool Room with injection mold experience, an accredited apprenticeship or technical certificate, and strong skills in milling, turning, EDM, CAD, and reading technical drawings. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits available.

Qualifications

Minimum 5+ years’ experience in Tool Room with injection mold tooling.
Completed accredited Apprenticeship or possess a Technical Certificate.
Strong ability to read technical drawings and work from drawings.
Expert in milling, turning, EDM and surface grinding.

Responsibilities

Manufacture Injection Mold Tooling and all critical components (inserts and core pins).
Provide routine and preventive maintenance of injection mold tools.
Manufacture jigs and fixtures for production areas.
Collaborate with R&D and other Toolmakers on critical projects.
Engage in 5S and Kaizen activities in the plant.
