Job summary

rms Company, part of the Cretex Medical family, is seeking a Tool & Die Maker I in Minnesota on 1st shift (Mon–Fri, 6:00am to 2:30pm). The role supports building and maintaining fixtures, gauges, and tooling, ensuring quality and process integrity while adhering to ISO and medical device requirements.

The position emphasizes precise tooling, surface grinding, CAM programming, and collaboration with sales, engineering, quality, and production teams to meet customer needs and improve toolroom

Qualifications

• Technical degree or equivalent machine tool experience.
• 1 year of experience machining or stamping.
• Know the theory of cutting and forming in the stamping process.
• Good troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and build reliable production ready tooling on time.
• Document and build activities in required databases.
• Surface grind to required tolerances.
• Troubleshoot tooling issues and determine best solutions.
• Set up and operate CNC and Manual Toolroom Equipment to produce high quality precise tooling components.
