Job summary

Augustine Die & Mold, Inc. is seeking a Plastic Injection Mold Setup Technician for the 3rd shift (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM) in Somerset, PA.

You will set up and optimize injection molding processes, manage equipment, and ensure quality per job specs, with a shift premium during training and regular operations. The role requires 3–5 years of hands-on experience, knowledge of machinery and automation, and the ability to lift heavy tooling.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on plastic injection mold setup experience.
• Strong knowledge of machinery, automation, and resin materials.
• Ability to lift heavy loads and operate hoists/cranes up to ~15,000 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set up and change over molding machines, automation, and auxiliary equipment per work instructions.
• Maintain optimal molding processes and document setup records.
• Perform material handling, validation, and process control per guidelines.
• Enter data on operator panel and maintain records for traceability.
• Provide operator training and assist with part evaluation against specs.
