Job summary

Hoffer Plastics Corporation is hiring a Setup / Mold Technician for the 3rd shift (12:00am–8:00am). Starting pay is $22.00-$24.00/hr with an 8% shift premium. Join a leading plastics manufacturer and develop a skilled trade in molding.

You will handle machine setup, mold changes, process parameter input, and work in a 5S environment. Training levels C through A provide a clear career path, with advancement and ongoing development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Ability and interest in progressing through the leveled Molding Technician training curriculum.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and math proficiency.
• Proficiency in reading and writing English.
• Computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Mold parts and perform machine setup for production needs.
• Set molding process parameters with supervisor guidance.
• Monitor production for quality and efficiency; identify defects.
• Follow 5S standards and safety policies.
• Participate in leveled training curriculum from Level C to Level A.
