Job summary

Pretium Packaging in Saint Charles, IL is seeking a Process Technician for the 3rd shift (10:00 pm to 6:30 am). You will set up injection molds and monitor production to maintain quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities include start-up of molding processes, robot programming, LOTO compliance, and troubleshooting hydraulic/electric molding machines. IQMS is used throughout production; on-site role with full-time, permanent employment.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in molding processes.
• Proficiency in robotics programming and color loader calibration.
• Knowledge of lock out tag out procedures for equipment.

Responsibilities

• Completes start up of molding process and provides first article to quality for approval.
• Programs robots and performs calibration of color loaders.
• Responsible for completing lock out tag out requirements for all equipment related to the molding process.
• Set up and processing of hydraulic and electric molding machines, troubleshooting of molding problems, programming or robots, set up of end of arm tooling, chutes and conveyor systems and authorized to make changes.
• Maintains quality throughout the molding process to meet all standards.
• Uses IQMS (ERP system) for the entire production process.
• Maintains a safe and clean work environment by following policies and procedures.
• Attends training to stay current with industry requirements.
• Performs other related duties or projects.
