Job summary

ARaymond is seeking a Plastic Injection Mold / Die Setter for the 1st shift in Michigan. You will perform set ups of multi-cavity injection molds and assist with machine startups as needed on the production floor.

Responsibilities include completing work orders in SAP, maintaining toolrooms, and ensuring safety and quality standards are met. Minimum one year of setter experience required.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year experience as an injection mold setter across IMM manufacturers, tonnages, and controllers.
• Knowledge of plastic materials and process parameters for injection molding.

Responsibilities

• Comply with all safety procedures and regulations (OSHA).
• Set up tools for start-ups accurately and completely.
• Complete work orders in SAP for molding equipment or tools.
• Maintain housekeeping for tools, thermolators, robot pendants, and temperature controllers.
• Maintain machine platens and in-press preventive maintenance of molds.
