Job summary

ARaymond Network seeks an Injection Mold Setter to support multi-cavity plastic injection molds on the production floor. You will perform start-ups, set tools, and ensure accurate documentation in SAP and Raypro MES, while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

You will collaborate with process technicians and supervisors to meet customer production needs, participate in continuous improvement initiatives, and potentially work overtime as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year experience as an injection mold setter with IMM manufacturer, tonnage, and controller types.

Responsibilities

• Comply with all internal and OSHA required safety procedures and regulations.
• Set tools for start-ups in the mold area.
• Complete work orders in SAP for molding equipment or tools.
• Maintain housekeeping and condition of thermolators, robot pendants and hot runner controllers.
• Maintain machine platens and die-setting station organization.
• Perform in-press preventive maintenance of molds and related tasks.
• Keep accurate records in paper, Raypro MES and SAP.
• Coordinate with material handlers and supervisors to meet production and shipping requirements.
• Recognize nonconforming material and follow troubleshooting processes.
• Contribute to CI/OpEx initiatives for safety, quality and cost improvements.
• Work overtime when necessary.
