Job summary

GRAND HAVEN CUSTOM MOLDING seeks an entry-level Plastics Injection Machine Operator to support the production of high-quality injection-molded parts in a manufacturing environment. You will perform inspections, sort and package parts, and complete required production documentation while adhering to quality, safety, and productivity standards.

Responsibilities include meeting productivity goals, handling parts from production lines, identifying defects, and communicating issues to the Shift

Qualifications

• Entry-level manufacturing role in plastics injection molding.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
• Ability to stand for long shifts.
• Team-oriented with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed productivity goals while maintaining safety and quality.
• Perform visual and gauge inspections of molded parts.
• Remove and transport finished parts from production lines.
• Sort and discard defective parts according to specs.
• Package acceptable parts per customer specifications.
• Complete production and quality documentation accurately.
• Communicate concerns to Shift Supervisor promptly.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized work area.
• Follow safety procedures and wear PPE.
• Support waste disposal and recycling activities.
