Mcm-Staffin is seeking a Tooling Maintenance Technician to maintain, repair, troubleshoot, and inspect plastic injection molds and tooling for safe, reliable production. The role includes preventative maintenance, mold cleaning, dimensional inspections, and tooling adjustments to minimize downtime and maintain tooling quality.

Responsibilities extend to triaging tooling issues on the production floor, assisting with repairs, and ensuring accurate documentation of maintenance activities.

Qualifikationen

• Requires a high school diploma or GED.
• 5+ years hands-on tool room experience with plastic injection mold repair or tooling maintenance.
• 3+ years operating hand-operated tool room machinery and equipment.
• Strong knowledge of plastic injection molds, tooling components, mold construction, and component characteristics.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing injection molds and tooling.
• Plastic injection molding or processing experience preferred.
• Trade school or related machining courses preferred.

Aufgaben

• Read and follow tooling work orders, maintenance instructions, and technical documentation.
• Disassemble, inspect, repair, clean, and reassemble plastic injection molds and tooling.
• Perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on molds and tooling.
• Troubleshoot tooling issues and identify opportunities to improve mold performance and efficiency.
• Respond to tooling issues on the production floor to minimize downtime.
• Use precision measuring equipment and maintain dimensional tolerances.
• Operate tool room equipment safely and maintain organization.
