Job summary

Aptive Environmental, a leader in pest control, is seeking a summer seasonal Initial Service Professional to cover locations across the US. The role runs March through August with a company vehicle and location-based wages. You will serve customers on daily routes, maintain gear, log treatments, and collect payments in line with regulations.

No experience is required; training is provided. A valid US driver’s license (2+ years), clean driving record, and successful drug/background checks are

Qualifications

• This is a great summer opportunity with no experience necessary; we will train you.
• A US driver’s license that has been valid for a minimum of 2 years is required.
• A clean driving record is required (no more than one moving violation in the past year and no more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years).
• A drug test and background check will be performed on all new hires.

Responsibilities

• Running a daily route where you will be resolving customer pest concerns and issues.
• Maintaining truck and equipment in proper working order.
• Keeping accurate records of treatments provided.
• Collecting payments for services rendered.
• Mixing, applying, and working with pesticides in accordance with state and federal laws.
• Serve as the subject matter expert for your customers by implementing the most efficient and overall best pest solution for each customer's individual needs.
• Maintain and service all route customers according to company standards and procedures.
• Advise customers of potential problems.
• Keep management informed of any problems encountered on service routes.
• Maintain proper inventory of pesticides.
• Complete virtual monthly mandatory trainings prior to the season (will vary by location).
• Obtain and maintain required licenses.

The individual we are looking for is someone that enjoys working in a team environment but can excel working at an individual level.
