Job summary

Aptive Environmental is seeking a Pest Control Technician to operate on a local on-the-road route around Athens, GA, reporting weekly to the Atlanta office. The role offers a company vehicle, uncapped bonuses, 401K, generous benefits, and paid training.

You’ll service residential pest needs, maintain equipment, and keep precise records while adhering to safety rules. Experience isn’t required; a valid 3-year driving history and a clean record are needed to start.

Qualifications

• Ability to work on-the-road and in customers’ environments.
• Willingness to train and learn pest control techniques.
• Valid driver’s license with three years of experience; clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Run a daily route resolving customer pest concerns.
• Maintain truck and equipment in good order.
• Keep accurate treatment records and follow safety laws.
• Mix and apply pesticides per state/federal rules.
• Serve as the expert for pest solutions tailored to each customer.
• Support route maintenance and notify management of issues.
• Inventory pesticides and carry a ~50 lb backpack.
• Work schedule includes every other Saturday.

We are seeking a hard-working, innovative, detail-oriented and creative team player to join our Aptive team! This is a full-time Pest Control Technician position located on the road in the area around , Athen, GA. This position will report to our office in Atlanta, GA once per week. The individual we are looking for is also someone that enjoys working in a team environment and excels working at an individual level.

• $17.25 - $21.25 an hour

Responsibilities Include

• Running a daily route where you will be resolving customer pest concerns and issues
• Maintaining truck and equipment in proper working order
• Keeping accurate records of treatments provided
• Mixing, applying, and working with pesticides following state and federal laws
• Serve as the subject matter expert for your customers by implementing the most efficient and overall best pest solution for each customer's individual needs
• Maintain and service all route customers according to company standards and procedures
• Advise customers of potential problems
• Keep management informed of any problems encountered on service routes
• Maintain proper inventory of pesticides in usage
• Please note that you will be assigned a route in your local area
• Carry a product backpack that weighs approximately 50 lbs
• Work schedule includes every other Saturday

Qualifications

• A US driver’s license that has been valid for a minimum of 3 years is required
• A clean driving record is required (no more than one moving violation in the past year and no more than 2 moving violations in the past 4 years)
• A drug test and background check will be performed on all new hires
