Responsibilities include routine repairs, preventative maintenance, and coordination with vendors.

Qualifications

• Prior maintenance experience required (commercial or large facility preferred).
• Strong working knowledge of general building systems and repairs.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs across a 127,000 SF facility.
• Address plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, and minor mechanical issues.
• Troubleshoot and respond promptly to maintenance requests.
• Conduct preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized services.
• Snow removal and ice management during winter months.
• Maintain walkways, entry points and exterior grounds.
• Maintain organized maintenance logs and documentation.
• Monitor building systems and report concerns proactively.
• Manage tools, supplies and inventory; ensure safety compliance.

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Hourly: $20-25/Hr
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Position Overview

Mason Equity Group is seeking a reliable, highly organized, and professional In-House Property Maintenance Specialist to oversee the daily interior and exterior maintenance operations of our 127,000 square foot, four-story Headquarters located in Columbus, Ohio.

This role is solely dedicated to maintaining our corporate headquarters to the highest operational standards. The ideal candidate understands the importance of discretion, confidentiality, and professionalism in a corporate environment while ensuring the building remains clean, safe, fully functional, and well-maintained.

There are opportunities for internal advancement and cross-collaboration with our Residential and Commercial Property Maintenance teams throughout the Columbus portfolio.

We are looking for someone who treats the building as their own - with care, accountability, and pride in maintaining a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

Building Maintenance & Repairs

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs throughout a 127,000 SF, 4-floor facility
• Address plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, and minor mechanical issues
• Troubleshoot and respond promptly to maintenance requests
• Conduct preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and disruptions
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors when specialized services are required

Exterior & Grounds Maintenance

• Snow removal and ice management during winter months
• Maintain walkways, entry points, and exterior grounds
• Ensure building exterior remains clean, safe, and presentable
• Assist with seasonal maintenance tasks

Organization & Operations

• Maintain organized maintenance logs and documentation
• Monitor building systems and report concerns proactively
• Manage tools, supplies, and inventory efficiently
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and building policies

Professionalism & Confidentiality

• Maintain strict confidentiality regarding internal operations
• Always present a professional appearance and demeanor
• Work respectfully within a corporate headquarters setting

Qualifications

• Prior maintenance experience required (commercial or large facility preferred)
• Strong working knowledge of general building systems and repairs
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Dependable with strong attendance and reliability
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and perform physical labor as needed
• Valid driver's license required

Preferred Experience

• Experience maintaining multi-story commercial buildings
• Familiarity with preventative maintenance scheduling
• Snow removal equipment operation experience
• Basic HVAC knowledge
