Job summary

Mason Equity Group, LLC is seeking a reliable Property Maintenance Specialist to join our team. This role maintains the condition of residential and commercial properties, performs unit flips, and completes work orders with high quality.

You will handle routine maintenance, repairs, painting, fixture replacements, and coordinate with tenants, contractors, and property management. Must have valid driver's license and strong safety awareness.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and installations across residential and commercial properties
• Complete unit turnovers including painting, minor repairs, and fixture replacements
• Address and resolve maintenance work orders in a timely and professional manner
• Safely operate and maintain power tools and other equipment
• Troubleshoot basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry issues
• Maintain cleanliness and order in work areas and storage spaces
• Communicate clearly with property management, tenants, and contractors regarding repairs and status updates as needed
• Follow all safety protocols and company policies
• Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to respond to after-hours emergency maintenance issues via the company-provided emergency phone on weekends

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Travel: Employees will be required to travel between properties as apartment flips and work orders are needed. Mileage will be reimbursed.

Pay: $20 - 25 /hr (Based on Experience)

• Experience with power tools and basic hand tools (must operate them safely and efficiently)
• Trustworthy, dependable, and capable of working both independently and in a team environment
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in both residential and commercial property maintenance
• Basic certifications in HVAC, electrical, or plumbing a plus
