Job summary

Infusion Solutions Inc. in Washington State seeks a skilled LPN to provide infusion therapy and skilled nursing within the LPN scope of practice, under RN supervision.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Washington State LPN license.
• Current BLS/BCLS certification.
• Infusion therapy experience or demonstrated competency in assigned infusion procedures.
• Experience in acute care, home health, outpatient, community health, or infusion therapy preferred.
• TB testing as required by agency policy.
• Valid Washington State driver's license, reliable automobile, and current automobile insurance.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing.
• Basic computer/EHR proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing and infusion therapy within the LPN scope and established plan of care.
• Administer IV medications, fluids, and assigned infusion therapies per orders.
• Perform venipuncture, peripheral IV insertion, vascular access care, dressing changes, specimen collection, and infusion pump management.
• Observe and monitor patients, infusion sites, and devices for adverse reactions and changes in condition; initiate emergency procedures as indicated.
• Follow medication-safety, infection-control, aseptic technique, and patient-safety standards.
• Reinforce patient/caregiver teaching and provide education about medications, infusion therapy, and ongoing care.
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, pharmacists, and other team members to support safe and effective care.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of care and communication in accordance with policy and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain competency in infusion therapies, vascular access procedures, and related equipment; participate in training and competency validation.
• Perform other duties within the LPN scope of practice as assigned.
