Job summary

Infusion Solutions Inc. is seeking an experienced registered nurse to provide infusion therapy in a clinical setting in Everett, WA.

You will place, monitor, and assess intravenous systems and medications, adapting plans to meet patient needs while ensuring compliance with accreditation standards and regulations. Responsibilities include assessments, site management, administration of IV medications, venous access, pain management, patient and family education, and collaboration with physicians

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• 1 year acute care, home health, community health, or outpatient experience within last 2 years.
• Credentials in specialty area (phlebotomy, IV, ET).
• Current BCLS certification.
• Current TB testing.
• Valid state driver's license and proof of auto insurance.
• Demonstrated leadership and effective communication.
• Compliance with Washington Nurse Practice Act and in-home service laws.
• Basic computer knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing patient assessments.
• Monitor infusion sites and systems.
• Administer IV meds including antineoplastic agents and parenteral nutrition.
• Follow the five medication rights to minimize errors.
• Perform venous punctures and phlebotomies.
• Assess client condition and update care plans as needed.
• Observe for adverse reactions to therapies and medicines.
• Educate patients and families on treatment and pain management.
• Maintain aseptic techniques and infection control.
• Collaborate with physicians and pharmacists as needed.
• Document clearly and timely.
• Provide care across all ages from neonate to geriatric.
