Job summary

Nebraska Medicine is seeking an Infusion Staff Nurse to join the Werner Treatment Center in Omaha, NE. This full-time role provides, prescribes, delegates, and coordinates specialized infusion nursing care, administers IV therapies, monitors patient responses, and educates patients and families as part of an interdisciplinary team.

The ideal candidate holds an ADN or Nursing Diploma, possesses BLS, and may require PALS/ACLS depending on department.

Qualifications

• ADN or Nursing Diploma required.
• Current Nebraska RN license or compact state license required.
• BLS certification from an AHA-endorsed program required (effective for new hires starting Jan 1, 2023).
• PALS certification department dependent required.
• ACLS certification within 6 months of hire or transfer date department dependent required.
• TNCC or ATCN within one year or hire date department dependent required.

Responsibilities

• Infusion Staff RN: provide, prescribe, delegate, and coordinate nursing care with other providers for holistic patient needs.
• Environment of care may be long-term, emergent, critical, acute, interventional, or procedural driven.
