Job summary

CHI Health Immanuel in Omaha is seeking an Infusion Nurse to administer IV therapies and medications, ensuring safe, high-quality patient care. You will assess needs, manage infusion devices, prepare and deliver treatments, and educate patients and families.

You will monitor for complications, maintain accurate nursing documentation, and collaborate with physicians and specialists while upholding sterile technique and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• BLS/CPR certification required upon hire.
• Chemotherapy provider certification within 6 months or as required.
• Oncology nursing certification within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Administer IV therapies and medications; ensure safe patient care delivery.
• Assess patient needs, manage infusion devices, and prepare/ administer treatments.
• Educate patients and families; monitor for complications and changes in condition.
• Perform head-to-toe assessments and reassess per policy for adults/geriatrics.
• Maintain equipment and nursing documentation; coordinate with physicians as needed.
