Job summary

Nebraska Medicine in Omaha, NE is seeking an Infusion Staff Nurse to join the Werner Treatment Center. You will provide, prescribe, delegate, and coordinate infusion nursing care, administer IV therapies, monitor patient responses, educate patients and families, and collaborate with the care team.

Part-time 0.6 FTE with 24 scheduled weekly hours, day shift with occasional nights and two weekend shifts per month.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in nursing (ADN) or Nursing Diploma required.
• Effective communication skills required.
• Ability to demonstrate initiative, teamwork and flexibility required.
• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Nebraska or current compact state license required.
• BLS certification from an American Heart Association endorsed program (effective for hires starting Jan 1, 2023 or later).
• PALS, ACLS, TNCC or ATCN certifications preferred or required within specified timelines.

Responsibilities

• Infusion Staff RN provides, prescribes, delegates, and coordinates nursing care for designated patients.
• Administers IV therapies and medications; monitors patient responses and reactions.
• Educates patients and families; collaborates with the interdisciplinary care team.
