Work Schedule

Days, 8‑hour shifts, Monday–Friday, occasional weekends

Pay Range

Hourly Equivalent: $27.49 – $34.17

Annual Full Pay Range: $57,399 – $71,347 (prorated if less than 100%)

Responsibilities
  • Schedule and coordinate multiple complex Infusion Center appointments including infusion, fast‑track, and lab visits for non‑oncology and oncology patients.
  • Communicate with patients continuously with appointment updates, answer incoming calls, and triage non‑clinical medical questions.
  • Make outgoing phone calls to schedule subsequent infusions and remind patients of upcoming infusions.
  • Create Hospital Account Records (HARs) and ensure patient registration, demographics, and insurance information is accurate and continuously updated.
  • Understand authorization requirements and referral management; direct patients to appropriate clinical setting and facilitate patient flow.
  • Provide coverage across Infusion Services Call Center, check‑in support, and clerical duties as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Three (3) years of experience working in a large healthcare organization.
  • Prior scheduling experience.
  • Experience with patient check‑in/check‑out and cash handling.
  • Demonstrated experience with insurance, authorizations, and referrals.
  • EMR trained; Epic experience preferred.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of medical terminology.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Infusion scheduling experience.
  • Experience working in Oncology or any cancer‑related clinic setting; previous call center experience.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of oncology.
  • Epic experience.
Special Conditions
  • Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs.
  • Employment subject to criminal background check and pre‑employment physical.
  • Expected to float to multiple locations based on department staffing needs.
