Responsibilities

• Interact with patients, visitors and staff, responding to inquiries and guiding scheduling.
• Coordinate and schedule infusion appointments based on protocols and preferences.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and navigators to schedule multi‑step infusions.
• Verify insurance authorization before scheduling.
• Maintain knowledge of infusion protocols and timing requirements.
• Communicate appointment logistics and prep instructions to patients.
• Monitor and adjust schedules for urgent add‑ons or delays.
• Document scheduling in the EHR and systems.
• Resolve scheduling conflicts with clinical and admin teams.
• Answer incoming scheduling calls and reschedule/cancel as needed.
