Job summary

Corewell Health is seeking a part-time RN to join the Muskegon infusion clinic. You will deliver safe, patient-centered care in a 7-chair unit, collaborating with the pharmacy infusion team to support efficient treatment visits.

The role requires an RN license in Michigan, an associate degree with potential bachelor’s completion within 5 years, and BLS. Shift is Day, with flexible hours and a fast-paced, team-oriented environment that serves the Norton Shores community.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing must be completed within 5 years for those starting after 2017.
• MI RN licensure required upon hire.
• BLS certification required (AHA or ARC).

Responsibilities

This new 7-chair infusion clinic will help keep care local by providing a convenient location for patients to receive non-oncology infusion therapies closer to home, while expanding Corewell Health’s ability to serve the needs of the communities we care for.

About Outpatient Clinics

Corewell Health operates over 300 outpatient clinics across Michigan, bringing a multitude of care options to the communities that we serve. There are over 40 different types of primary care and specialty practices, which allows those who work in these clinics the opportunity to learn and explore various interests or to specialize in one area.

Scope of work

Responsible and accountable for the overall nursing care management of an assigned group of patients. Collaborates with the Nurse Manager and other members of the health care team to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Uses clinical judgment skills to diagnose and treat the patient's responses to actual or potential health conditions. Assesses, monitors, detects, plans, and takes appropriate action to prevent potential physiological complications associated with specific health problems and / or medical treatment.

Qualifications

• Required Associate's Degree Nursing
• Bachelor’s Degree Nursing must be obtained within 5 years for those who start in this RN role on or after January 1, 2017 Required
• LIC-Registered Nurse (RN) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire Required
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association 90 Days Required or CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross 90 Days Required
