Corewell Health's Primary Care Advanced Muskegon location is seeking a registered nurse for a full-time day shift at 2558 Henry St, Muskegon, MI.
You will provide comprehensive nursing care, perform the nursing process, and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes while upholding ANA standards and state regulations.
Qualifications
- RN licensure and state-specific nursing credentials required.
- Nursing degree(s) with timelines for BSN attainment.
- Active BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications or time to obtain.
Responsibilities
- Deliver nursing care following ANA principles and Michigan law.
- Demonstrate nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation.
- Maintain professional standards including ethics, communication, and collaboration.

Delivers nursing care responsibly and accountably as described professionally by the American Nurses Association (ANA) and legally by the State of Michigan. Demonstrates competency through the critical thinking model known as the nursing process. This includes assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Upholds the standards of professional performance as described by the ANA. This includes ethical practice, culturally congruent practice, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence-based practice and research, quality of practice, professional practice evaluation, resource utilization and environmental health. Strives to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Required Associate's Degree Nursing
- Required Bachelor's Degree Bachelors of Science in Nursing must be obtained within 5 years for those who start in this RN role on or after January 1, 2017 (Corewell Health Grand Rapids Hospitals, Zeeland Hospital, and United Hospital).
- Required Bachelor's Degree Bachelors of Science in Nursing must be obtained within 5 years for those who start in this RN role on or after January 1, 2018 (Corewell Health Reed City and Big Rapids Hospitals)
- Required Bachelor's Degree Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Nursing must be obtained within 5 years for those who starting in this RN role on or after May 1, 2020 (Corewell Health Gerber Hospital, Pennock Hospital, Ludington Hospital).
- Required Bachelor's Degree Bachelors of Science in Nursing must be obtained within 7 years for those who start in this RN role on or after January 1, 2017 (Corewell Health Gerber Hospital, Pennock Hospital, Ludington Hospital).
- Required Bachelor's Degree Bachelors of Science in Nursing must be obtained within 7 years for those who start in this RN role between February 22, 2016 and December 31, 2017 (Corewell Health Reed City and Big Rapids Hospitals).
- Required Bachelor's Degree Bachelors of Science in Nursing must be obtained within 7 years for those who start in this RN role between January 1, 2013 and December 31, 2016 (Corewell Health Grand Rapids Hospitals and Zeeland Hospital).
- Required Bachelor's Degree Bachelors of Science in Nursing must be obtained within 7 years for those who start in this RN role between February 1, 2013 and December 31, 2016 (Corewell Health United Hospital).
- Preferred Bachelor's Degree Corewell Health Continuing Care and Corewell Health Medical Group do not require a Bachelors of Science in Nursing.
