Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse in Infusion Services at Brick, NJ. You will provide direct patient care, collect health data, and coordinate the care plan with the healthcare team.

Responsibilities include assessing patients, documenting data, recognizing status changes, and administering medications with bar-scanning tech. Oncology experience is preferred and BLS/CPR certification is required.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a BSN or willing to pursue within three years of hire.
• Six months of nursing experience or participation in Nurse Residency Program.
• Active New Jersey Nursing license is required.
• BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association required.
• Oncology experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient’s health or situation.
• Perform age and disease specific assessment/data collection independently.
• Recognize clinical and diagnostic status changes in patient status.
• Develop a plan of care that prescribes strategies and interventions.
• Communicate, coordinate, and implement the plan of care.
• Provide ongoing communication with patient/family and healthcare team.
• Implement age and disease specific care in an organized manner.
• Perform continuous Point-of-Care electronic documentation.
• Administer medications utilizing advancements in bar-scanning technology.
• Evaluate progress toward attainment of outcomes.
