RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Outpatient Infusion at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in New Jersey. The role involves delivering safe, evidence-based nursing care to adults receiving chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and infusion treatments, with emphasis on patient education and coordinated teamwork.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey RN license (or Multistate with NJ endorsement).
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Oncology Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy cert preferred.
• Oncology Nurse certification preferred.
• Prior oncology/hematology/infusion/med-surg experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and recognize clinical changes.
• Administer chemo, immunotherapy, blood products, hydration, and supportive meds.
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams for coordinated care.
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans and side effects.
• Document accurately in EMR to ensure continuity of care.
• Participate in rounds, huddles, and quality-improvement activities.
• Manage IV access and port care; initiate/monitor infusions.
• Ensure infection prevention and safe staffing in infusion area.
