Job summary

BrightStar Care in Bloomington, IL is seeking a Registered Infusion Nurse (RN) to provide compassionate in-home care and IV therapies, following each client’s Plan of Care.

You will perform home infusions, monitor vital signs, document in electronic health records, and counsel clients and families on nursing needs. A valid RN license and reliable transportation are required; training is provided on site.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the applying state.
• Minimum 1 year nursing experience; critical care experience preferred.
• IV insertion skills required and infusion experience in home or clinical setting preferred but training provided on site.

Responsibilities

• Perform care as defined by client’s Plan of Care in the home.
• Perform home infusions.
• Monitor patient’s condition and vitals.
• Provide services requiring substantial nursing skill.
• Maintain electronic health record compliance with laws.
• Counsel client and family in meeting nursing needs.
