Job summary

BrightStar Care in Bloomington, IL seeks an Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) for a part-time, hourly role delivering home infusion therapy. You will perform care per the Plan of Care, administer infusions in the home, monitor vital signs, and maintain compliance with relevant laws.

Qualifications include active RN license, CPR, 1 year experience preferred, IV skills, and reliable transportation. Training for infusion may be provided on site.

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse license in state for which you are applying.
• 1 year experience.- critical care experience preferred
• IV insertion skills required
• Infusion experience in home or clinical setting preferred but not required- will train on site
• Physical and TB screen within the last year
• Current CPR certification
• Proof of eligibility to work in the US.
• Reliable car / auto insurance.
• Clean background and criminal record.

Responsibilities

• Perform care as defined by client’s individual Plan of Care and within scope of state’s nurse practice act, in the clients home
• Perform infusions in the home setting
• Monitor patient’s condition and complete vitals
• Provide those services requiring substantial and specialized nursing skill.
• Assures proper maintenance of electronic health record compliance with local, state and federal laws.
• Counsels the client and family in meeting nursing and related needs.
