Job summary

Option Care Health is seeking an Infusion Nurse II to coordinate and provide intermediate direct patient care in the home or infusion suite, following a physician’s plan of care under structured supervision.

You will perform treatments, educate patients and families, document care in real-time, mentor Infusion Nurse I’s, and ensure continuity of care while complying with HIPAA and agency policies.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted RN license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 1 year nursing experience.
• Current CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Initiates, develops, and implements intermediate nursing plan of care treatments, educating patients and families.
• Assesses patient needs and status; communicates significant changes to physician.
• Provides training and mentorship to Infusion Nurse I’s for safety and compliance.
• Documents care in real-time and ensures timely billing and record accuracy.
• Coordinates discharge planning and ensures continuity of care with the clinical team.
