Job summary

Option Care Health is seeking an Infusion Nurse II to coordinate and provide intermediate direct patient care in the home or alternate infusion suite under a physician’s plan of care. You will supervise nursing activities under structured supervision and engage in comprehensive patient education and coordination with the clinical team.

The role requires an active RN license, CPR, and a minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, with travel up to 100% for business needs.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted RN license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Must have access to a vehicle for business travel with proof of liability insurance.

Responsibilities

• Initiates, develops, and implements intermediate nursing plan of care treatments.
• Organizes and participates in direct patient care and education.
• Obtains and clarifies physician orders and reports changes to the physician.
• Maintains real-time documentation for billing and care coordination.
• Mentors Infusion Nurse I’s to ensure patient safety and compliance.
