Grand Itasca Clinic & Hospital is seeking a Casual Registered Nurse-Infusion to provide timely and professional infusion services within the IV Therapy department. The role requires MN RN licensure, BLS, and infusion experience, with opportunities to advance skills in chemotherapy administration and patient education.

The position offers days/nights shifts in a collaborative, patient-centered care environment, with comprehensive benefits and an emphasis on teamwork and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in Minnesota required.
• BLS certification required.
• ONS Chemotherapy Provider Card or ability to obtain within 6 months; ONC certification preferred.
• Demonstrated clinical competence in direct patient care and education.
• 1–2 years infusion therapy experience preferred.
• Adhere to Grand Itasca Clinic and Hospital policies, vision, mission and values.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely, accurate nursing care to infusion patients and families.
• Collaborate with providers to assess patient needs and deliver required services.
• Perform admissions assessment using patient history, communication and physical evaluation.
• Identify nursing diagnoses and determine appropriate interventions.
• Manage workload and adapt to changes while maintaining patient safety.
• Perform and monitor IV/central line care and blood draws per protocol.
