Job summary

Northwestern Medicine is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Glenview Infusion Clinic. This casual, as-needed position supports vacation and sick leave coverage with 8-hour shifts, Monday–Friday in a clinic setting.

The role emphasizes direct patient care, collaboration with the care team, and adherence to standards of care while providing compassionate service to patients and families. The position requires Illinois RN licensure, a nursing degree from an accredited program, and BLS CPR

Qualifications

• Current license as a Registered Professional Nurse (Illinois)
• Graduated from an accredited school of nursing
• American Heart Association BLS CPR certification

Responsibilities

• Directs patient care for a specific shift and assesses changes in patient condition.
• Communicates patient status to multidisciplinary team and with patient/family.
• Provides clinical interventions to meet patient needs and documents the nursing process.
• Ensures safety and quality care and participates in quality improvement activities.
• Demonstrates professional attributes and advocates for patients and co-workers.
