Job summary

UCHealth in Aurora, CO seeks an experienced RN for direct patient care in the outpatient infusion setting, applying nursing process per practice standards and UCHealth values. This role supports infusion services, education, and collaboration across disciplines.

Responsibilities include planning and evaluating infusion care, coordinating patient transfers, and providing education to patients and families. Applicants should have current RN licensure and BLS certification; 6 months RN experience

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Minimum 6 months of nursing (RN) experience.
• BLS through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer, card in-hand before start date.

Responsibilities

• Plans, implements, and evaluates patient care related to infusion services based on patient assessment.
• Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition; collaborates across disciplines for transfer, discharge, referrals.
• Evaluates learning needs of patient and family and provides education appropriate to age, culture, condition.
• Delegates patient care to ancillary personnel; may precept students and new hires.
• Demonstrates critical thinking and can work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
