Job summary

Southeastern Rheumatology Alliance is seeking a dedicated Infusion RN to join our Bluffton, SC team. The role involves administering IV medications per orders, monitoring patient responses, and maintaining clear documentation in our EMR system.

The successful candidate will have an LPN license (GA), experience with EMR, and proficiency in IV medication administration and dose calculations. A recent infusion therapy course or current infusion experience is required.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in the state of Georgia.
• Experience with EMR systems.
• Proficient in dose calculations and administering IV medications.
• Must have completed a recent infusion therapy course or have current infusion experience.
• Collaborative, team-oriented work environment.
• 4-day work week (Monday-Thursday).

Responsibilities

• Administer intravenous medications and fluids according to physician orders.
• Monitor patients during infusion therapy and manage adverse reactions.
• Maintain accurate documentation including infusion records and EMR updates.
• Clean and prepare patient areas, equipment, and tools.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
• Ensure infection control protocols are followed for a safe environment.
• Assist in maintenance and organization of infusion supplies and equipment.
• Manage infusion phone messages and scheduling.
• Insert and discontinue peripheral IV catheters.
