Job summary

BrightStar Care is seeking an Infusion Nurse / Registered Nurse (RN) to serve Bluffton, Hilton Head, Beaufort area and Savannah, GA with flexible scheduling and immediate opportunities.

Ideal candidates have oncology or home health RN background with IV experience, plus SC/GA RN licensure and current CPR/BLS. Per diem/contract/part-time roles available to support community-based infusion care.

Qualifications

• Active SC or GA RN license.
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience.
• PICC and implanted-port access experience required.
• IV therapy and vascular access experience required.
• Home health or oncology experience preferred.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Current TB test (Negative or Non-Reactive).
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work independently in home and community settings.

Responsibilities

• Administer IV infusions, medications, and other prescribed therapies.
• Access, maintain, and de-access PICC lines and implanted ports.
• Start and manage peripheral IVs as needed.
• Assess patients before, during, and after treatments.
• Monitor for complications, infections, and adverse reactions.
• Perform central-line dressing changes and flushing per protocol.
• Educate patients and families about treatments and care.
• Complete accurate nursing documentation.
• Communicate with physicians and the healthcare team regarding patient needs.
