Job summary

Infusion for Health is seeking Per Diem Infusion Registered Nurses to support our centers in Los Angeles including Torrance and Long Beach. This ongoing, as-needed role offers flexible scheduling and opportunities to deliver patient-centered infusion therapy in private rooms.

Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing with an ADI RN; BSN preferred; 3 years ICU/ER experience; infusion experience preferred; active RN license and BLS/ACLS/PALS; proficient with EMR; strong

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing.
• Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of recent RN experience in ICU/ER or similar high-acuity settings.
• Infusion experience preferred; training available for the right candidate.
• Valid RN License.
• Current American Heart Association BLS or ACLS/PALS certification.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and escort them to private infusion rooms.
• Educate patients about treatments and address concerns about adverse reactions.
• Administer prescribed medications and establish IV access, including central lines.
• Monitor and document patients' conditions and responses to treatments.
• Maintain the flow of patient care and manage emergencies calmly.
• Keep infusion rooms clean and well-stocked.
• Answer phone calls as needed, adhering to OSHA and HIPAA guidelines.

Position Details: Our company is continuing to grow and we're looking for Per Diem Infusion RNs to support our centers throughout Los Angeles. This is an ongoing, as-needed role. You will be contacted when a center has a need for additional PRNs to provide coverage. Below is a list of our centers:

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing.
• Associate Degree in Nursingrequired; Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of recent clinical RN experience in ICU, ER, or similar high-acuity settings.
• Infusion experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
• Valid RN License.
• Current American Heart Association BLS or ACLS/PALS certification.

Skills and Abilities:

• Proficient in Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
• Computer literacy, includingproficiencyin Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for team collaboration and patient interaction.
• Recent IV experience.
