Job summary

Infusion for Health in California is seeking a Per Diem Infusion Registered Nurse to cover Torrance and Long Beach centers as needed. Join a patient-focused team delivering high-quality infusion care in private rooms.

Responsibilities include welcoming patients, IV access, medication administration, EMR documentation, and monitoring responses. Requires RN license, 3 years ICU/ER experience; infusion experience is a plus with training available.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing.
• Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of RN experience in ICU/ER or high-acuity settings.
• Infusion experience preferred; training may be provided.
• Valid RN license with BLS or ACLS/PALS certification.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and escort to private infusion rooms.
• Educate patients about treatments and address concerns about adverse reactions.
• Administer medications and establish IV access, including central lines.
• Monitor and document patients' conditions and responses to treatments.
• Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation.
• Keep infusion rooms clean and stocked; comply with OSHA and HIPAA.
• Respond to emergencies calmly and effectively.

Position Details

Our company is continuing to grow and we're looking for Per Diem Infusion RNs to support our centers throughout Los Angeles. This is an ongoing, as-needed role. You will be contacted when a center has a need for additional PRNs to provide coverage. Below is a list of our centers:

• Torrance
• Long Beach

What We Offer

• Competitive hourly pay between$54- $58, with variations based on experience andexpertise.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing.
• Associate Degree in Nursingrequired; Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of recent clinical RN experience in ICU, ER, or similar high-acuity settings.
• Infusion experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
• Valid RN License.
• Current American Heart Association BLS or ACLS/PALS certification.

Skills and Abilities

• Proficient in Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
• Computer literacy, includingproficiencyin Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for team collaboration and patient interaction.
• Recent IV experience.

Essential Functions

• Welcome patients and escort them to their private infusion rooms.
• Educate patients about their treatments and address any concerns about adverse reactions.
• Administer prescribed medications andestablishIV access, including central lines.
• Monitor and document patients' conditions and responses to treatments.
• EnsureaccurateandtimelyEMR documentation.
• Maintain the flow of patient care and manage emergency situations calmly and effectively.
• Keep infusion rooms clean and well-stocked.
• Answer phone calls as needed, adhering to OSHA and HIPAA guidelines.
