Job summary

Infusion for Health in Lakewood, CO is seeking a dedicated Infusion Registered Nurse to join our center part-time. This role covers Monday to Wednesday, 24 hours, 9:00am to 5:00pm, in a patient-centered infusion environment.

The RN will administer medicines, establish IV access, monitor patient responses, and document care in EMR, while upholding OSHA/HIPAA guidelines and a collaborative team culture.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing.
• Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of recent RN experience in ICU/ER or similar high-acuity settings.
• Infusion experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
• Valid RN License.
• Current American Heart Association BLS or ACLS/PALS certification.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients to their private infusion rooms.
• Educate patients about their treatments and address any concerns about adverse reactions.
• Administer prescribed medications and establish IV access, including central lines.
• Monitor and document patients' conditions and responses to treatments.
• Ensure accurate and timely EMR documentation.
• Maintain the flow of patient care and keep infusion rooms clean and stocked.
• Answer phone calls as needed, adhering to OSHA and HIPAA guidelines.

Essential Functions:

• Educate patients about their treatments and address any concerns about adverse reactions.

• Ensure accurate and timely EMR documentation.
• Maintain the flow of patient care and manage emergency situations calmly and effectively.
• Keep infusion rooms clean and well-stocked.
• Answer phone calls as needed, adhering to OSHA and HIPAA guidelines.
