Job summary

Option Care Health, Inc. is seeking a pharmacy technician to assist licensed pharmacists and ensure smooth pharmacy operations in compliance with policies and state regulations.

You will perform prescription processing, preparation, and patient support while maintaining equipment and inventory accuracy. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, 0–6 months of related experience, and basic MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering customer service to internal and external customers.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Able to perform basic and intermediate mathematical calculations.
• Proficiency with MS Word for document handling.
• Proficiency with MS Excel for data and calculations.
• Proficiency with MS PowerPoint for presenting information.

Responsibilities

• Review/validate basic prescription drug refill requests and process according to policies.
• Assist with preparing and dispensing medications and supplies.
• Maintain equipment through calibration, inspection, cleaning and reporting defects.
• Collect and maintain basic patient information for planning materials, equipment and prescriptions.
• Support patient experience by answering basic questions and requests.
• Receive and verify quantities of incoming supplies and materials.
• Stock and store new supplies and materials; track inventory in system.
• Schedule routine patient deliveries; clean and sanitize surfaces and laminar hood flows.
