Job summary

Soleo Health in Morrisville, NC seeks a Pharmacy Technician to support our specialty infusion pharmacy. The role involves sterile compounding and clinical support under a pharmacist, delivering injectable and oral medications to core service areas.

This full-time, in-person position requires NC CPhT licensure, at least 1 year of technician experience (hospital or infusion setting preferred), and strong customer service and sterile technique.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as a Pharmacy Technician in North Carolina in good standing.
• Minimum 1 year on-the-job pharmacy technician experience; hospital or specialty infusion setting preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Registered/Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) or as required by NC BOP.
• PTCB/NHA Certification preferred.
• Excellent customer service and sterile compounding technique.
• Basic to intermediate proficiency with Excel, Word and Outlook; CPR+, Insight familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Sterile preparation of IV/infused medications under pharmacist direction and in compliance with regulations.
• Demonstrates understanding of USP 797/USP 800 standards and state BOP requirements.
• Maintain call and shipment schedules for continuity of care.
• Coordinate communications, lab data and clinical information with pharmacy, nursing and reimbursement staff.
• Data entry of patient and prescription information into pharmacy software in line with BOP rules.
• Clean room maintenance and regulatory compliance per company policy.
• Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement programs.
• Complete Soleo’s re-credentialing process annually.
• Receive and store medications and supplies from vendors.
• Package and ship medications to customer homes.
• Assist in inventory counts and formulary management.
• Obtain additional licensure/registration as needed for service area.
