Job summary

Option Care Health is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant to support licensed pharmacists in day-to-day pharmacy operations. You will process prescriptions, prepare medications, and package products with accuracy and care.

The role includes inventory maintenance, patient data collection, and ensuring clean, compliant work areas. Prior customer service experience and basic Microsoft Office skills are required.

Qualifications

• Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers, including meeting quality standards for services and evaluating customer satisfaction.
• Able to perform basic & intermediate level mathematical calculations.
• Excellent organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Process prescription refills for drugs, PN/high risk, heparin/saline.
• Process new drug prescriptions.
• Counts, pours, & mixes pharmaceuticals.
• Packages products into appropriate containers and labels containers.
• Provides training to Clinical Pharmacy Technician I's.
