Job summary

Option Care Health Inc. is seeking a Compounding Technician I to assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications in a clean room environment. This role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and adherence to policies and state regulations within a high-volume home infusion setting.

You will perform basic pharmaceutical calculations, label and package medications, and help maintain cleanroom standards while supporting incident reporting and equipment maintenance as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of pharmacy technician experience preferred.
• Licensure and/or registration as required by state.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic calculations.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist with the preparation and dispensing of medications and supplies per policies and state standards.
• Accurately compound and label medications; ensure correct dosages.
• Maintain pharmacy temperature logs and cleanliness; monitor equipment status.
• Record and report medication incidents as needed.
• Support site and equipment maintenance and documentation.
