Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 4 years as a pharmacy technician and 2 years in a specialized area.
• Registered Pharmacy Technician with TSBP or Pharmacist Intern registration with TSBP.
• ACPE Sterile Compounding and BLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Perform sterile admixtures for adults using aseptic technique.
• Handle hazardous medications including chemotherapy; safe distribution of meds.
• Coordinate workflow and provide leadership to other technicians.
• Audit controlled substances; maintain accuracy and compliance with USP and TSBP.
